In this presentation, Kathy & Jessica will discuss why corporate trustees like to review trust documents ahead of time, the key areas trustees focus on, and how succession or removal works. We’ll also discuss the kinds of duties that tend to raise red flags for corporate trustees—things like open-ended personal management, risky business responsibilities, or having to monitor a beneficiary’s lifestyle—and some practical ways to handle these challenges.  Finally, we’ll share tips for drafting attorneys who are naming corporate trustees in documents.
