This program will be a review of the ethical rules that govern an estate planning professional when he or she acts as an executor or trustee: Special attention will be paid to the rules concerning competence, conflicts, communications, confidentiality, and gifts as they relate to acting as a fiduciary. The review will include the use of hypotheticals to demonstrate particular points.
