Kirk, Brian and Shawn will discuss how various charitable giving vehicles have evolved to address donor needs, including the increased use of donor advised funds and the making of investments in businesses deemed socially responsible or businesses engaged directly in providing social impact.  They will consider focus on planned gifts in light of the multi-trillion dollar transfer of wealth that is anticipated in the next 25 years, and how advisors can help donors ensure maximum impact and adherence to their stated purposes and conditions of such gifts after they have died.  And the panel will address how potential federal tax reform can impact charitable giving.
